Another Elderly Man Found Dead Near Neelganga Canal
By Saira Sravya | Crime Correspondent
Shivrang | July 16, 2000
The city had barely recovered from the tragic demise of Dharam Singh when the Shivrang Police Department was confronted with yet another grisly case.
The body of Rajesh Kavshil (60) was recovered early Sunday morning near the canal adjoining the Neelganga River, approximately four kilometres from the city centre.
According to preliminary reports, local fishermen spotted the body at around 6:15 a.m. before alerting nearby authorities. The area was immediately cordoned off as forensic experts began collecting evidence.
Police officials have not yet confirmed whether the latest death is connected to the earlier case involving Dharam Singh. However, the striking similarities between the two incidents have intensified public concern across Shivrang.
Senior officers have urged citizens to refrain from speculation until the investigation is complete.
