I didn’t stumble into writing — I was always living in stories.

As a child, I loved reading and would often find myself narrating tales to friends and even kids younger than me, but never quite the way they were written. I had a habit of twisting endings, reimagining boring plots, and turning mundane stories into something exciting — something mine.

Back in school, while most students were hiding snacks, I was hiding romance novels in the forbidden corners of the library. I devoured them quietly, falling in love with the way authors shaped emotions. I had two close friends who listened to every story I told — and unknowingly, they became my first audience, my first critics, and the ones who kept handing me more books to retell.

Then came Banaras Hindu University.

I was a Bachelor of Science student, not a writer — not officially. But one day, when no one was interested in an on-the-spot essay competition, I gave my name for both English and Hindi. I walked into that hall of strangers with zero expectations — 2000 words, 3 hours, and the only thing I had was my voice.

Later that evening, amidst the lights, the crowd, and the excitement of meeting actor as the chief guest, something happened that changed everything: they called my name. Not once — but twice. Second prize in English. Third in Hindi.
That was the moment. The you-can-do-this moment. Only the first prize winners were called on stage....

Soon after, life took another turn. I left B.Sc. to pursue B.Tech in Lucknow, and with it came my debut novel Half-Baked Love, inspired by that city and a story close to my heart.

Even while pursuing my M.Tech and research at IIT, the writing never stopped — in fact, it intensified. Platforms like Wattpad and Webnovel became my training ground. Readers gave honest feedback, strangers became loyal followers, and my writing matured with every critique, every late-night post, and every vulnerable chapter I shared.

On Twitter, my writing community became my mirror — showing me who I was becoming: not just a writer, but a storyteller who connects, who feels, who bleeds emotion into words.

This is my journey. From hidden library corners to your screen. From a science student to a storyteller.
And I’m only just getting started.
